Sage Byrne is the nom de plume of a creative writer, photographer and Florida Master Naturalist currently living in the Florida panhandle. She is owned by two Rough-collies and a small band of backyard tortoises. When she’s not writing or reading, Sage enjoys hiking, kayaking, fishing, and paddle-boarding.

Her literary background includes a multi-year stint as a feature writer and editor for a Canadian online magazine, as well as several published short stories. Her writing style blends her love of nature with myth, mystery, and the haunting atmosphere of the Gulf Coast.
